11. JASMINE AND CROSBY BRAVERMAN IN ‘PARENTHOOD’
When the show, ‘Parenthood,’ was first introduced to the audiences, Crosby Braverman, the youngest son, was enjoying a bachelor’s life riding a motorcycle to his job of a studio engineer and living in a boathouse. However, when his old girlfriend suddenly came in town with their young son, Crosby suddenly grew up. He revived the romance with Jasmine and developed a bond with his son. Now, after its fifth season, Jasmine and Crosby are happily wedded and welcoming a baby girl.
12. KEVIN AND VERONICA FISHER IN ‘SHAMELESS’
Showtime’s ‘Shameless’ is about the big sister Fiona Gallagher and her struggling life, in which she has a hard time raising her five younger sisters and brothers. Although, her alcoholic father Frank is shown occasionally, her drug-addicted mother is almost non-existent. Thus, all parental duties fall on Fiona and she heavily leans on her next-door neighbor cum best friend, Veronica and Kevin, her husband. Kevin earns his keep as a bar owner. However, after Veronica becomes pregnant with triples, Kevin ventures into the pimping world, in order to bring some extra income. Even though, it is not the best job in the world, but still the pair is sincerely the most stable couple on the series.
13. ‘PRIVATE PRACTICE’
Kate Walsh’s Dr. Addison Montgomery was first seen in ‘ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ before he starred in ‘Private Practice,’ its spin-off. ‘Private Practice’ was based on the private practice, in which Montgomery worked, run by Sam, her ex-husband and Naomi Bennett, her college friend. However, she transgressed the boundaries of her friendship by initiating a relationship with Sam, which was played by Taye Diggs. For several seasons, both of them remained a couple, but Naomi and Sam came back together towards the end of the series.
14. TODD AND TONI GARRETT IN ‘GIRLFRIENDS’
When ‘Girlfriends’ started in 2000, it immediately founded its viewers in Black women. Every week fans turned to the show, in order to see the latest happenings about black white dating in the lives of Joan, Maya, Toni, and Lynn. While, every woman had her own man, it was Toni who took a different turn by marrying a White, Jewish plastic surgeon, Todd. However, their marriage just ended after a year, when Todd settled in New York at the end of the 6th season. But, Toni, which was played by Jill Marie Jones, soon moved to Big Apple, in order to keep their daughter closer to her father.
15. ‘SEX AND THE CITY’
‘Sex and the City’ centered around the lives of four women in their 30’s, who live in New York City and struggled to juggle everything. Miranda Hobbes, played by Cynthia Nixon, was the show’s voice of reason. A successful lawyer, Hobbes, had her own dilemmas over men. But before, she married on and off and settled with boyfriend Steve, she dated a handful of men, and one amongst them was the sexy Dr. Robert Leed, which was played by Blair Underwood. Leed worked for the New York Knicks as the team physician. However, their short-lived relationship soon ended, as Steve and Miranda realized their affection for each other and joined in holy matrimony.
